‘The Tonight Show’ starring Jimmy Fallon is coming to Africa

African comedy channel, Comedy Central, has acquired rights to broadcast the US late-night talk show, The Tonight Show starring Jimmy Fallon from NBCUniversal International Distribution in Africa.

Starting Monday, June 5, at 21:00 WAT (weekdays),viewers will be treated to Fallon’s trademark humour and high-tempo energy, his welcoming interview style, love of audience participation, spot-on impersonations, celebrity guests and innovative sketches.

The Grammy Award-winning group, The Roots, serve as The Tonight Show’s house band.

Dillon Khan, Vice President Comedy Central Africa, commented, ‘We are delighted that Jimmy will be joining our stellar line-up as star of The Tonight Show, and thrilled to bring the show to our audiences within 24-hours of the U.S. premiere to make life funnier.’
