The painting of Adadevoh

Dr. Stella Adadevoh might have been overlooked when the state government rolled out its list of achievers in a bid to inspire citizens during its Lagos @50 anniversary, but not anymore.

The late doctor, who died fighting to curb the spread of the deadly Ebola disease in 2014, has been honoured with a painting on a wall opposite the Lagos State University Teaching Hospital (LASUTH).

Unconfirmed reports say the painting was sponsored by the state government, after the public outcry against Dr Adadevoh’s exclusion from the Lagos @50 celebrations.
