Story highlights
Emmanuel Emenike presently plays as forward for Turkish club, Fenerbahçe.

Last week, fans of Rizespor called for Emmanuel Emenike to be banned after allegedly insulting their defender, Ali Yacoubi during their 2-1 loss to Fenerbahçe on April 30.

After the incident, Fenerbahçe’s General Secretary, Mahmut Uslu, stated that what the Super Eagles striker did was no offence.

And then on Sunday, May 7, Emineke was brought in to replace Robin van Persie in their 1-1 draw against Besiktas at the Vodafone Arena.
